If I am only using the "Smart Thermostat" as a temp sensor to get better readings for my "Smart Radiator Thermostat" what would I select "as old Thermostat" during setup? Thanks!

Hi jessie P! generally speaking, our Smart AC Control works with all ac units with a remote control that displays the air conditioner's currents settings (for example mode, target, temperature and fan speed). tado° does the ac have to be on at all times? Or can it be turned on from my phone anywhere outside my apartment?

Dear jessie P, you can turn it on/off via your phone, yes. So it kind of works like a remote control from everywhere you are. Also, you can turn on Geolocation so the Smart AC detects when you are at home or on your way and turn on the AC automatically. Kind regards!

So F'ing annoyed with Tado I've installed 3 now and the are all a pain in the ass. if there customer service was better I would mind so much. you may pay more for NEST but there customer service is second to none and in my opinion a much better thermostat.
