Side wheels for kisds bikes to be used for training the kids.16 to 20 inch bikes. These wheels can quickly be assembled and attached to the bike. Simple to install.

What type of training wheels are those and are they designed to work with a 20inch kids bike? And do both of the training wheels touch the ground when the bike is in riding position? I purchased some training wheels but they were designed to help the child ride on two wheels and they did not touch the ground when riding to help stabilize the bike. Thanks for any information you provide.

Are training wheels made so that both are nearly touching the ground, but do not touch the ground, which encourages learning balance? When first riding, a person may be relying on them and lean over a bit, but after balance is learned, the person rides and neither wheel is on the ground-I could be wrong, but is that a possibility? I seem to remember first learning to ride leaning over with one wheel was on the ground.

You did not tighten the lock nuts on the training wheel with a socket wrench!!! They may pop off. this is dangerous

Yes...They are 'Nyloc' Nuts they need to be tightened past the finger resistance with a🔧wrench, spanner. They blue coloured nylon sleeve inside the nut, locks with friction against the thread on the bolt. This is to stop it from vibrating loose.
