Wow.. I am a member of a dive rescue team and I was there that day! I was diving Vintage gear that day though. Ya'll need to get your buoyancy sorted out and then we can start. kicking up the bottom and silting everything out is a major no no. If your looking for a weapon it helps if you can see where it went in the mud on the bottom. If you silt out the area of search you will never find it. You don't have to twist my arm to get me to Fortune Pond. If you want to do training let me know. I'll give you a hand.

Hey Jim, It's good to hear from you. These guys were used to diving zero viz areas and haven't had a chance to experience the benefits of good buoyancy skills before this day. They were much better on the second dive. Looking forward to seeing you again at Fortune Pond or maybe Wazee. :-)

@@bretthalderson-scubalog709 I get the zero viz thing. Ha, I was training in it on Monday night. For the record, I found the hand gun and the long gun. One more suggestion though. These guy use sling tanks instead of hard mounting the pony to the main tank. That makes a lot of sense to me and I believe it's the way to go. I do mine though like a tech diver would. I attach at the shoulder and the waist D ring. This keeps the sling tank by my side and out of the way. Just a thought.
