I didn't really know who Mia was, but after Ivan's podcast, I bought a copy of her book for me, and another one as a gift for a friend. Thanks Ivan.

This is fantastic, especially the part about engaging the dog with genuine praise and different emotions and tones of voice. Edit: thank you Mia and Ivan.

Ivan is right. Going out into the forest and nature with your dog is so pure.

Hearing Mia speak about emotion and motivation is inspiring …. I feel validated in the emotional/communicative approach I have taken with my dogs. Ivan, I love your podcast; my daily learning. Thank you!!!

It was a really good section about the rift between dog trainers and what the dogs enjoy. It is so hard to be in the dog training world now because of the idea that balanced trainers are cruel. It resonated with me how some force free trained dogs look so miserable. I see this a Lot in AKC dog shows. Thanks. And really good video overall.

WOW!!!!, An other spectacular talk, training, breeding, behavior, competing, couldn't ask for more, such great minds full of knowledge sharing it with the world, what an honor to be able to sit and learn, THANK YOU SO MUCH IVAN!! for making this available to us. Hopefully you can have another talk with her again. And from this talk it comes to my mind that it would be amazing if you could have a talk with some belgian ring trainers-competitors-breeders. THANKS again IVAN! 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

This Lady reminded me of myself. I started training dogs at 6 years old with the Kennel Club. Jerry Hoare was one of my teachers and from him came my love of Border Collies due to his Collie called Panda. Being flexible in training is essential as no dogs are the same. Oh, I totally agree about using the voice. It is such an insult to a dog to not challenge them, dogs love to work and achieve. Really enjoyed this chat. Such intelligent conversation. Thank you.

Great podcast in general. Ridiculous strawman regarding "positive trainers" wants and perspective.
