Well let me start by saying, when I booked this flight it was supposed to be a 757. But unfortunately swapped to this 737 about a week or so before. Also having paid £12 for seat selection on the 757, Jet2 required another payment to choose my seat again on the 737 when it was changed. So to say I wasn't happy is an understatement. The flight cost £29, but I paid £24 to book a single seat. So that wasn't a great start to the trip.
The flight departed from Manchester's new Terminal 2. Once pushed back taxied for departure on 05L. A beautiful day for flying across the UK, quite clear skies as we climb across the country. Once in the cruise at 37,000ft something that I love seeing. A race! We were in parallel with a Ryanair 737 from Liverpool to Reus. Flying at 39,000ft, we slowly undertook the Ryanair 737 over the south coast and across the English Channel. Some great air to air shots of that before it turned slightly and disappeared into the distance... For about 45 minutes or so. Then somewhere over central France it returned to view, but not as close as it was. But very cool to see. Starting our descent over Barcelona and approach into Palma onto RWY06L over the sea.

Why would anyone fly "cancel your flight at the last minute and not refund you" Air? 6 months have passed for me no sign of that €400 they owe me for cancelling my flight whilst I was checking in for it at the airport.

I was on this route w/ them a month ago, airport experience is as quick as ever but not much is open yet. T2 is really nice and relaxing only difference now is wearing masks. To avoid this purchase a drink or slowly eat food.
