Zoom lenses were invented to use sparingly and when needed....before you use the zoom on your camera, tape off the length of the zoom....practice the zoom several times so you see where you mighyt have to move the camera to accept your intended zoom....but to zoom at every possible opportunity just ruins the aim of the video...the trains.....If my attention is drawn to the camera operation, then you have missed the point of what you are trying to do....highlight trains......less zoom....better videos....cheers
