Good video. I was wondering lllll do Eurostar trains stop at Ashford int. I never saw one stop on this video. And on another one at Stratford int non seemed to stop there. What's the point of calling them International stations, if Eurostar doesn't stop there

Straight question...why do arrival and departure time accuracies matter to train lovers?
@grahamsmith95413 жыл бұрын
It isn't just train lovers. They also matter to travelers and the train companies. They are penalised financially. If the trains don't conform to agreed punctuality standards.
@TheTrainiac3772 жыл бұрын
Because it is important for travelling or you know, you want to announce the train arriving, departing or passing (I do that because it is fun tbh)
@josephinebennington72472 жыл бұрын
You’ve both rather missed my point. You’ve answered relative to a traveller’s or the operator’s interests. I’m talking about the poster/platform photographer who feels the additional need to tell us the due and actual times of arrival/departure. Why tell us about a difference of 1 minute? Years ago, a mad trainiac called OSNock would include incredibly detailed timings of journeys he had made. Why?

Why do the class 377 have pantograph for southeastern where there is no need can’t they just remove them
@ajf32025 жыл бұрын
The 377s are ex Thameslink which operated on the overhead wires between City Thameslink and Bedford.

a shame the classic 373's are going away. The 373's are A LOT better then those ugly 374's. They don't even have a beautiful sound! Instead they have disgusting squeaky brakes!!!!

UKTrains 373 The 374’s dont even sound like a eurostar
@CptnPhasma2 жыл бұрын
The 373s were becoming difficult as they used the old English signalling system and the french signalling systems. They also used 3rd rail. You can search up why for more reasons
