@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney my 5 year old son loves trains and i often see people filming at bethnal green, so i searched a few videos for my son to watch, hoping he can see ‘daddys train’ lol, and there i was lol

Hi, daft question!! Did you have to write for permission in advance to be on this station or did you just turn up and staff were ok with you being there. I’m only asking because i had staff throw me off Royal Oak (near Paddington) and next time i had to write to TfL for permission to be on platform. Even though Clapham Junction was perfectly fine with it, cheers

I see your point, I've had similar issues at other stations. In the multiple times I've been here as long as you're not over the yellow line then the staff are fine with it.

Hmm, I went to Clapham Junction with my Video Tripod, my Canon & my mic & they got the station manager & kicked us out of the station, will think about going to riyal oak as it is not a big & busy & managed station by network rail. All I know that there are strict rules for Managed stations

@@adizTrainspotting never had a problem at Clapham Junction but then again i only take numbers and not videos, just the odd picture off my phone. I stayed about 3hrs at Royal Oak but the station manager (apparently) approached me asking to leave because i've been reported loitering. Tried explaining what i was doing but wasn't intrested and just wanted me off.. said that i didnt have permission

@@adizTrainspotting I know a few people who have been kicked out of Clapham who were also carrying tripods with big cameras and mics. I've been there many times without my tripod and the staff are fine with it.

@@daleworsfold4020 Unfortunately some members of staff don't understand trainspotting at all - a shame really as it's not prohibited in any way. You weren't doing anything wrong, it's just your luck you got kicked off. Some stations you get lucky, others not (I can name a few off the top of my head)
