Trains at Bridlington - 15/09/2023

Filmed on 15/09/2023. So, even though this is the end of the Summer of 2023, it is a beautiful day for exploring my local line of the Yorkshire Coast and the Yorkshire Coast Line. Starting with a first of three stations of the day with Bridlington (Season 10 Episode 25)
There hasn't been many changes in terms of train services in and out of Bridlington since our previous visit. The only changes is the train departures between Bridlington and York are those which are departing now at **56 mins past the hour.
But, this is Bridlington and the gateway for the Yorkshire Coast and indeed for Flamborough North Landing for the famous lighthouse. Which is causing controversy at the moment due to the new eco friendly bulbs which are no longer shining around for roughly 20 miles.

I didn’t know Scarborough bound trains could use the Hull bound platform! Something wrong with the opposite side? Not sure what the platform numbers are now. Used to be 4, 5 and 6; the latter being the bay.

Yep, they can do if the signal wanted them to do so. I believe they were carrying out works on the footbridge hence for the temporary footbridge. Also, makes it easier for those with pushchairs and wheelchairs as there are no lifts here. They would've used the foot crossing with station staff assisting :-)

Well, DRS used their class 37's nearly everyday from York along the Yorkshire Coast but we don't know what will be running them this year :-)
