Trains at Carluke, WCML - 24/09/18

Video: A very busy and action packed evening of spotting trains at Carluke station situated on the Scottish portion of the West Coast Main Line. This spot featured plenty in terms of varieties of passenger and freight trains, with some loco-hauled and some multiple units. I even caught my first DRS Class 88 (88007 on electric mode) which was a huge highlight for me, as well as a GBRf 47 hauling the Caledonian Sleeper and the evening daily LNER 225 set headed for Glasgow Central from London Kings Cross.

To think many years ago those 320 Emus were running between Euston -Birmingham as 4 Car 321 units in Network South East and Sikverlink livery.

Thanks very much, I'd say the best time is between 3pm and 9pm Mondays to Saturdays.
