Trains at: Cheddington, WCML, 7/09/15

A fantastic afternoon spent at Cheddington on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland, Southern and various freight traffic including a couple of tones throughout.
The station isn't very busy with commuters as there is only 1 stopping train every hour going to and from Milton Keynes Central although during the rush hour period it isn't extended to 2 trains per hour.
Everything flies through the station at near enough top speed unless the London Midland services are crossing over to the slow lines at Ledburn Junction. The affects of this can be seen with a Southern service passing by slowly and a triple headed Royal Mail 325 train.
I've always enjoyed filming here and will most likely come down again later in the year. My next series of stations will come from the Great Eastern Mainline then a further 4 coming from the Great Western Mainline. After that I'm not 100% sure.

Fantastic Video at Cheddington! :-) Really loved those Donald Trump 2 and 3 tones from the Virgin Super Voyagers, Pendolinos and 350s. Also very good shot of the triple pairing 350s and the triple pairing Royal Mail 325s. Haven't seen a Virgin Super Voyager passing Cheddington for Edinburgh, they normally go between Edinburgh and Birmingham New Street. Also I've seen Virgin Pendolinos in Edinburgh and Carlisle. They're the 11 Coach services going there. They are extensions of the Edinburgh-Birmingham New Street services with stops towards Euston at Sandwell and Dudley, Birmingham International, Coventry and Milton Keynes. Also what a coincidence that you've uploaded this video on the 14th Anniversary of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington. RIP to all those who were killed. :(

a large number of the Pendolinos are now running 11 car formations. Mostly it's the Pendolinos that work the Anglo - Scottish services. The voyagers go to either Birmingham or Wales mostly. Although I did catch a voyager heading to Blackpool North. I was really impressed catching the triple headed 325 royal mail train and the tones I received throughout the video were very impressive.

It is 14 years until the California High Speed Rail opens for Business. I would like to ride the new trains when the CHSR opens. I'd love to see and ride US Transcontinental High Speed Rail Services whether it's from New York to Los Angeles, Washington DC to San Francisco or Boston to Miami.

Do you ever get approached by station staff? They seem to jump on me as soon as the camera is out, then normally move me along. Not really sure on the rules, so just do what they say. Great video once again, thanks for sharing. Have you got any more series planned?

I have been approached plenty of times before, the last time I was approached by a staff member was when I was filming at Biggleswade. Once I told them what I was doing they were happy to let me carry on. I know a few stations are a bit fussy about the whole thing

Can you go to forest gate? Although it's my local, not many people film there so I think it will be a good idea for you to go. The best location is at the western end of platform 2/3 :)

I know I can't wait. I heard a news Story about a proposal by President Obama to start the construction of a High Speed Railway linking New York and Miami. Hope there is an Eastern Seaboard HSR. I think Seattle is a promising city for UK Graduates to enter full time work. I'm considering moving to America One Day. I've look up to the United States since I went to New York in 2000 and still show fondness for America.

Well I think you've been to all corners of the United States. I've only been to New York but I'm keen on going to California namely to Los Angeles and San Francisco in particular to board a tour of Hollywood Studios, San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf and the Japanese Tea Gardens. Also Hawaii is President Obama's Birth State as he's the first and only US President born in Hawaii. Donald Trump loves to dispute it saying Obama is from Kenya. Well the President's Birth Certificate is Legit and Legal and Transparent.
