Trains at Dawlish, GWML - 13/4/22

Welcome to a pretty rare Trains At episode! This one, part of the Locals Series, is from Dawlish where services are seen by Great Western Railway and CrossCountry as well as a surprise later on!
It was lovely to get back into doing a filming session at a station, albeit this one was by chance, I still really enjoyed visiting the station and filming. Lots of variety seen with good passes and of course the scenery always impresses. The station is going through quite a lot of work at the moment, to move the rails more outwards and overall improve connectivity in the South West so it does not look at its best but the views remain very good! Overall a lovely visit to a very enjoyable little station, one I will always come back to!!

I think the midland pullman was in the East Midlands trains livery judging by the sound of the power cars they kept the engines in the power cars and then painted the full set in the midland pullman livery

Very good video mate good to see you finally back making train AT’s dawlish is very different now they done it out looks much better done a good job still not quite complete yet tho, lovely mixture of trains I hope they don’t get rid of the HSTs Be a big mistake if they do if they can keep on running for many more years they have to keep them, oh if you do ever come to Exeter let me know and I will see if I can join for a train videos

Nice to see another trains at video, even if it's a one off or the odd one every now and then. Also lovely shot of the Blue Pullman and I can definitely tell you the power cars once belonged to EMR. :)

I was down there on the 11th April and saw 1 blue turbo and 3 green turbos. 1 was on the tarka line. So not all blue. Must have just been chance
