Trains at Didcot Parkway, GWML | 12/03/23

Welcome to the latest episode from Spotting! In today's video I am at Didcot Parkway on the Great Western Main Line where services are seen by Great Western Railway and CrossCountry.
Another fantastic place to film, Didcot Parkway is one of the best places on the Great Western Main Line to see fast trains at good speeds. The station looks different now because of all the electrification but also a few little upgrades on the station are seen too. As this was a Sunday, the variety was a little less than normal but nonetheless was still good enough for what it is. Overall. I enjoyed my visit here!

Brilliant video Kieran!! Good to see you filming at a couple of stations again!! Some good variety you got at that station and some nice clips!! Will you do a spotting video at Marsh Barton??

I miss the days of the HST's, never been to Didcot Parkway but I imagine they'd look brilliant going through. Also Adelantes I know stuff about them which isn't so good lol.

I've seen the HSTs many times passing through Didcot and they looked and sounded amazing, defo was one of the places to be for them.

Awesome video I have 2 questions what's your intro music called and was the didcot to Oxford train not running?

how come some of the trains were on diesel even tho they’re on the gwml?

The line to Oxford is diesel so they have to run under diesel powerful for that but on the GWML itself that would be because there's a pantograph issue.
