Great video Kieran, good to see a video from a station that hasn't been filmed at much before. To answer the question of the video, the class 385 terminates at Alloa, Dunbar and Wemyss Bay, amongst others

North Berwick, Dunbar, Ayr. I don’t know if they occasionally work on the inverclyde routes still as I was on a 385, not a 380, from Inverkip to Glasgow Central last year with my bike and was surprised to see a 385 on the Wemyss Bay to Glasgow Central Route. That was the autumn of 2019. So I will add Wemyss Bay and Gourock to the list. I have also seen 385s at Glasgow Central going to Lanark. They are usually 318s and 320s on the Lanark route.

Yeah they don't do Ayr or Gourock but yes correct they do go to Lanark, the rest are correct! 😀

It’s all 380s on the inverclyde routes. I totally agree. It must have been a rare occasion when I was on a 385 from Inverkip to Glasgow last year as I’ve not seen them on that route since. I was taken aback, there might have been a reason for it. I’ve been on them to North Berwick and Dunbar. The 385s call at my local station of Springburn on the Queen Street to Edinburgh via Cumbernauld route and they terminate at Cumbernauld on sundays only as the Queen Street to Edinburgh via Falkirk Grahamston and Cumbernauld service is Monday to Saturday only. They also terminate at Falkirk Grahamston on Monday to Saturday nights from Glasgow Queen Street as the last direct service to Edinburgh on that route is the 19.24 from Glasgow QS.

Correction, Gourock is served by them but Ayr isn't so I'll give you that haha. That's interesting about the Sunday service. When I stayed in Scotland, my local was Bellshill for 6 weeks so it's on the Glasgow Central to Edinburgh route. 😀

Bellshill is served by 385s on the Glasgow Central to Edinburgh via Shotts and West Calder Line. That is one of the longest routes time wise from Glasgow to Edinburgh due to the amount of stops. My local station to Edinburgh run by 385s starts at Glasgow Queen Street via Springburn, Cumbernauld, Camelon, Falkirk Grahamston and all stops to Edinburgh from there including Edinburgh Park. Scotrail introduced this service a couple of years ago on completion of electrification between Cumbernauld and Falkirk. It’s a half hourly service Monday to Saturday and an hourly service terminating at Cumbernauld on sundays.
