Trains at: Elmstead Woods, SEML, 13/04/24

A lovely hours session spent at the beautiful station of Elmstead Woods on the South Eastern Mainline where we see plenty of services from Southeastern and freight from GBRF.
There isn't much to say about this station other than that it was opened in 1904 by the South Eastern Railway as just Elmstead before being named Elsmstead Woods in 1908 due to the forest of the same name being next to the station.
This has got to be one of the most beautifully well kept stations I have been to in the UK, I love the small gardens that are on every platform. It's a haven for wildlife and being on a mainline railway station makes it all the more incredible.
I could happily come back here just to relax in the gardens or by the pond whilst the trains rattle on by in the background.

Well with this series I certainly covered a lot of different stations. Some of which I will never come back to. I always like filming on the WCML as you always get something good on there no matter where you are based, Stafford has always been a great station to go to because of where it's based

Great vid as usual . I recall from one of your earlier videos you said you use a Samsung tablet for your filming , if this still applies do you lock the exposure / focus settings etc , also do you use the built in mic ?

Thank you kindly, in regards to the settings for the camera that I'm using on the tablet I haven't actually changed anything. All the settings are the base ones that came already with it. And yes I use the built in mic aswell. Although I have a mediocre cover that I use over the top of it to try and cover out a little bit of the wind noise. One day I will actually transition to a proper camera.
