I agree with you. Exactly!! Not to mention these trains can high tail it through stations at 90mph+ . Going to a narrow section of a platform is suicide and almost the same as going into Wembley Central station to wait for a LNWR or a southern train on the platform when most of them high tail past. That is why there is no Platform access to those trains unless one is scheduled to stop. Besides they are thankful that they did not get blown away. If they went to Wembley Central, the consequence is dire because not only will the speed be brutal but also cause rapid air pressure change that can push a person against a wall at force or suck them out. #pistoneffect.
@nightelectricityuniverse73495 жыл бұрын
Imagine if an emergency happened! No one will be able to help. (Assuming this station is unstaffed) Deathwise, how will SWR fucking feel about that (even though I hate firstgroup)? They will have to pay for the incident and the damage and services will have to be delayed for hours. I don't stupidity is enough. They are selfish. Just as selfish as idiot smokers or vapers who deface the back seats of buses. Pathetic!!!

With your blunt opinion of the parents with the pram i completely agree with you on that subject Jarred. I'm surprised i think it's called Social Services don't get wind of their utter stupidity if not contempt for what goes around a train station. But despite the brain-dead parents another brilliant clip. It's not uncommon for trains running up above a certain speed like 75 mph or higher to create Turbulence when running through stations especially with like Northallerton or even Welwyn North on The ECML.
@Tornado9225 жыл бұрын
It just astonishes me that they chose to stand at the very end of the station on the narrowest section, you only needed a strong gust of wind and a loss in concentration for the unspeakable to happen. Just out right stupidity demonstrated from those parents

@Tornado9225 жыл бұрын
To be honest having never been inside the cab of a 444 I wouldn't know. However they wouldn't allow them onto the network if the visibility was that bad that the driver couldn't safely see what was happening, it does help though that the driving position is on the left hand side of the train so he can see what's happening on the platform side of the train

6:27 don't you be sorry mate, they were being plain stupid. I like riding on the front of a train so I usually stand at the 3 car marker (the branch I catch runs 166s) and because the platforms are so short that's normally at the far end, but that's different for many reasons e.g there's no electrification and nothing ever passes them. What they did there was just reckless. You'd of hoped people might figure out that '4 car stop" is where 4 car trains are gonna stop!
@Tornado9225 жыл бұрын
I just don't see why they would walk that far down the platform with a pram when they can clearly see that a large group of people is starting tom accumulate at the other end of the platform where the space is far greater

@alanmolyneux59575 жыл бұрын
The solution is to stand close to the 4 car sign and board the front unit if it turns out to be 8. They probably delayed the departure by having to run back down the platform. Don't assume it will be 8 coaches.
