Trains at: Linslade, WCML, 26/03/18

An excellent and very different evening spent at the always beautiful location of Linslade on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Northwestern Railway, Southern and freight from Freightliner, GBRF and DB Cargo UK.
Linslade has to be one the of the best trackside locations on the West Coast Mainline because of the views of the railway and the overall area,,the rolling hills, farmyards, wildlife and the Grand Union Canal that passes by around the back near to the old church.
For some reason all services on the up fast line were approaching the signal block in front of me at a very reduced speed, almost like the signal was set at danger and yet the next block just before the tunnel was green.
My next film is going to be from Carpenters Park on the Watford DC line and adjacent to the WCML.

This is one of my favourite locations to come to on the WCML, when the weather is on your side this area is a real treat to come to, especially when your able to capture multiple freight workings :)

Wasn't that a lovely sunset Jarred, loved it. I find it absolutely shambolic that LNWR started in December and by April all but 1 of the 350s are still in LM livery. Gotta agree with you that Linslade is a most wonderful of places, thumbs up from me as always

Those Virgin Trains liveries you saw are the new liveries on the Class 390 Pendolinos and a lot of freight trains you see on the WCML might be coming from the Daventry International Freight Terminal.

There aren't many freight trains from Daventry, if you look on realtimetrains you'll see the scheduled departures

That new livery of London North Western Railway has still eluded u. But that is a great location to film especially capturing the 390s tilting round the corner from London Euston. Obviously the ones going to Euston on the fast line where not exactly going erm fast lol. Must have been a signal fault.

I can only assume that there was a signal fault but I wasn't able to ever determine what had actually happened on that day. And yep the new liveried 350 has still yet to make an appearance when I'm out filming

I think the southbound trains on the fast line to London Euston are slowing down probably because of the delays or maybe there is something on the Line.

You meant the UP fast line since it's the trains headed toward London Euston that are running slow. From the vids it looks like the trains have just left the TSR area and are accelerating.
