The two trains I've always wanted to see! The TfW class 82 and a class 67 all in one train. I think I'm in heaven

Enjoying it so far atm but with that 221 engine turning off the driver can do that while on the move and it won't affect it tpe do it with the 185s and they can only start the the engine back up when stationary as they are DEMUS like the 220/221/222 thought I'd let u know
@KTVTransport5 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, yeah I thought it was weird, must creep the passengers out a bit.
@TGSUK_Productions5 жыл бұрын
@@KTVTransport yes you have a point but when me and my mate was on the way back from Doncaster back in January and the middle carriage engine went off we was confused about it until we figured out why they were called DEMUS
@RWL20125 жыл бұрын
185s aren't DEMUs, they're DHMUs. They just have the eco mode.

a 158 and 156 is not that wierd of a combo - Northern ran a passenger service the other day/week with 156-460 coupled to a 142!
@KTVTransport5 жыл бұрын
Northern have some unique combos though...😉
@RWL20125 жыл бұрын
they have also run 142+158 combos in passenger service, which I didn't think could run in passenger service, only ECS, so I guess it's only 142+170 that's ECS only

How come Transport for wales go to manchester even though manchester is nowhere near wales?

I don’t know

Think about it! Long-distance, cross-border services, so that people can travel directly between Manchester Piccadilly and Carmarthen/Milford Haven/Tenby (via Crewe, Shrewsbury, Hereford etc and South Wales including Cardiff Central/Swansea/Llanelli etc) and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Llandudno... They also run a service between Birmingham International and Aberystwyth via New Street, Smethwick, Wolverhampton, Telford Central, Wellington, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Newtown, Caersws, Machynlleth, Dovey Junction and Borth, a service between Birmingham International and Pwllheli via New Street, Smethwick, Wolverhampton, Telford Central, Wellington, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Newtown, Caersws, Machynlleth, Dovey Junction and Fairbourne/Barmouth/Penrhyndeudraeth/Porthmadog etc and a service between Birmingham International and Holyhead via New Street, Smethwick, Wolverhampton, Telford Central, Wellington, Shrewsbury, Wrexham General/Chester/Rhyl/Llandudno Junction/Bangor/Llanfairpwllgwyngyll etc Transport for Wales is not the only TOC operating cross-border English-Welsh services either... CrossCountry operate a service between Nottingham and Cardiff Central via Birmingham New Street, and Great Western Railway operate services between Portsmouth Harbour and Cardiff Central (via Bristol, Bath, Southampton etc), between Taunton and Cardiff Central, and between London Paddington and Cardiff Central, some of which are extended to Swansea, others further extended to Carmarthen and in the summer months even to Pembroke Dock...

DVTs aren't 82s at all... Just had to say it, not moaning, just informing.
@RWL20125 жыл бұрын
It's an easy mistake to make, confusing trailer numbers with locomotive numbers... But yes a DVT is a DVT, and an 82 is an 82 (early 1960s electric locomotive)
@KTVTransport5 жыл бұрын
Yes I know, a DVT is a DVT that's it...
@LucyMichela5 жыл бұрын
I was tryna say he called it an 82 DVT in the video, which isn't what it is.
