Trains at Newton Abbot - 29/09/2022

Filmed on 29/09/2022. It is time for our second day of our holiday as we venture into the deepness and beautiful surroundings of Devon. But, we start the day as we emerge along the Great Western Mainline to the gateway through to Cornwall, North and beyond and to another busy station of Netwon Abbot (Season 9 Episode 35)
It isn't just for the mainline work but also the line branches off through to the popular seaside resort town of Paignton. Although, this section of line see's very little freight traffic but in terms of passenger traffic, there is always plenty going on.
Great Western Railway has also sent more Thames Turbo units which are now working on diagrams further south west than they have done so before. These are working on the Exmouth to Paignton services which works alongside a few pairing of class 150's.
