Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Paisley Gilmour Street located on the Ayrshire Coast Line and Inverclyde Line where services are seen by ScotRail only.
This station has fantastic architecture and has good views in both directions. Paisley Gilmour Street acts as a junction for two lines, the Ayrshire Coast Line to Ayr, Largs and Ardrossan Harbour and the Inverclyde Line to Gourock and Wemyss Bay. The architecture here is good, the station has a small but nice looking canopy which covers the platforms and when you go underneath the canopy, it looks and feels quite cool as it looks like an indoor dome. The variety is normally good, I came on a Sunday so it was less so but I will be back here hopefully when there's a bit more. Nonetheless, this station is a busy one and serves trains very frequently, certainly an enjoyed visit and one I'd recommend.
