A scorching summers afternoon at Reading station, in the midst of a heatwave seeing temperatures soar up to 32°C. There was actually a fair bit of disruption across the rail network due to the high track temperatures in places resulting in speed restrictions in places.
A few bits worth looking out for in the video are C2C liveried 387 operating a Reading to Newbury shuttle and Freightliner 59203 in orange & Freightliner 66512.
As well as those all the regulars for Reading these days, GWR IET's, 387's & turbos, TFL Rail 345, South Western Railway 458 and Cross Country voyagers.
After just under an hour in the roasting temperatures I decided to leave Reading and jump on an IET just to sit in an air conditioned carriage for a while.
