Nice to see Bank Quay again. From 1986-1988 I was in diggs in Bewsey ST on a collage course. One time while returning back to North Wales the last train did not stop at my stop so I spent the night in a cold drafty waiting room. There was a small gas fire but did not give much heat. My thanks to the station master in 1988 that allowed me to stay in the waiting room, He said it is not allowed but would turn a blind eye & said I could use the gas fire.. An awful night with noise from Lever Brothers & all the goods trains that stopped at the platform for ages. Never slept a wink, but was dry. Thank you station master in 1988.
