Big Trip is back!
Welcome to another episode of Big Trip! Today's station featuring is Woking on the South Western Main Line where services are seen by South Western Railway only!
Coming back here was brilliant, a lot has changed since my last visit to Woking including the liveries! The 442s are in service, more Desiros are getting new liveries and 2 car 158s are going to Salisbury, what a world! My visit here in 2017 was eventful too, especially since someone decided to trespass causing myself and others to be heavily delayed. This visit was brilliant, I really enjoyed filming here.
It's nice to bring the Big Trip series back for a bit but sadly this is not a permanent fixture in my schedule, these are backlogged videos taken before lockdown hit in late March so please use common sense before commenting on this video hurling accusations. As it stands, after these backlogged vids get released, Big Trip and The Locals will remain suspended until further notice, please enjoy what you see with these videos I do bring out though!

I think the reason why the 442 units were taken out of service was due to an issue where they weren’t compatible with certain signals I think. They then had to do further testing with them and eventually they didn’t re-enter service. Hope that answers your question.

Brilliant video Kieran! What is the music for this intro I really like it. Can't beat a good ol 442. They look really nice in the SWR livery and sound really nice when they are at speed even if they did used to screw up the signals. (answer)

The class 442s were taken out of service with swr because they messed the signals up and caused failures.

One of the half hourly Weymouth-Waterloo services doesn’t stop there goes from Basingstoke-Clapham jct then Waterloo whisky the other stops from Winchester-Woking-waterloo

The Exeter service at 11:46 would be way too short!? Only 2 carriages short? Ridiculous idea. There won't be enough seats! Also the 11:50 to Waterloo? Only 3 carriages long? 2nd ridiculous idea,but not as ridiculous.Again,there won't be enough seats!

I believe they swapped it out at Salisbury anyway which is good.

Tbh it's near Mercedes place at Brooklands where they have some F1 cars (might have driven a car there before :p) and a a heritage place with a very special Concorde plane. when I was driving I kept on getting distracted by the trains lmao
