I model the Seattle Sub in N-Scale and I get good tips from your vids. I'm seeing (as I saw in this video) more and more single engine leads. I know Canadian Railroads do this, but is that pattern trickling down to the U.S.? Hmmm.

It is not very common for locomotives to be solo here in the US. But if they are solo they most likely have a mid or rear DPU
