NS 1168 has the best K5LLA imo. Also at 8:58, Love how you got the railgrinder and the coal train in the same shot!

Awesome video! I wish I could get down there to see some of those classic CPLs!

Thanks. They're still there for now, but maybe not by the end of the year.

+Central Penn Rail Productions Yeah. That’s sad. Up here in Northwestern Ohio, PA, and NY, we’re losing our iconic NYC/Conrail Tri-Light signals. CSX didn’t even touch these signals until last year and it’s hard to believe they have replacements up for almost 100 miles already! In fact, they already tore out the ones in Ohio and half of Pennsylvania.

You freakin' nailed that Natural Bridge shot so well. Outstanding production.

You're not kidding, when you consider the traffic levels on both of those lines (or lack thereof) it truly was a 1/100,000 chance of a perfect meet like that. When I heard the DED go off on the scanner for the line below and the signal call of the NS train, I knew their mileage was about equal, sadly it was only a piece of LORAM equipment, but for my first ever visit to that location I think I did well, haha.
Okay now, the meet with the Loram Unit was perfect. That was straight perfection.

Great video! Also, the 201 originates in Greencastle, PA, not Rutherford, PA.
@CentralPennRailProductions6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! As of this year, 201 is still originating in Rutherford working Greencastle en route. I personally know two crew members who occasionally originate on that train at Rutherford. If I recall there was a brief period back in 2015 where traffic levels were low enough that 201 either ran light or tables to Greencastle and "officially" picked up a train there. I drove by Rutherford last week and have never seen the place so full!
@shoreextremeoutdoors53246 жыл бұрын
Cool! I personally know 3 engineers that run trains on this line, Rick Stump, Steve Heko, and Chris Stolen. Rick Stump says that the 201 starts in Greencastle, but they could start in both places too.
