TRAINS Rear Cab View EXO Ride Central Station to St Lambert REM Progress and Victoria Bridge

DECEMBER 24 2019 at 12 30 PM EST Please Like and Subscribe! A quiet ride on the EXO commuter train to St. Lambert, looking out the back window as the Montreal skyline and the Central Station interlockings above on the CN Viaduct drop away. The train then sweeps around through Griffentown, passing over the drained Peel Basin and drifts through the active construction site of the REM, where you can clearly see pylons being built over the tracks to support the new Light Rail system. The train then crosses the long truss spans of the Victoria Bridge before stopping at the EXO station at St. lambert. The date is correct, Montreal had extrodinary weather for the time, and snow is gone, so green Christmas for us in 2019!

I just checked the web site and admission is free first sunday of every month if you bring proof of Quebec residence like part of hydro bill or bank statement with your address.

ok, whell here's the deal, the EXO guys won't like it if everyone goes to the back window, they frown upon it. I found you can only go there if they are super mellow, like on a holiday, and don't check if anyone is there. On the single level trains, pretty much forget it, I asked if I could do it and got shot down every time. On the double deck cars you have a chance, but if caught , just leave. if you put up a fuss it will not end well. I'm not in the cab, but in the vestibule next to the cab. I'm mot doing anything wrong, but EXO guys have their job to protect so they will kick you out.
