How does it compare to Bachmann Branchline’s class 20 though, a similar one-cabbed long-bonneted BO-BO diesel?

Mine doesn’t respond. Is there a repair tutorial around?

Nice video! You guys should show the throttle you're using so we can see the speed of the Loco comparing to the throttle for all we know the Loco doesn't start to move till speed step 5 or 6 out of 128. By adding that, it would make it easier for me to buy any locomotive and probably others.

Sounds like a can of marbles and the bell is louder then the horn. You would think the other sounds would cut back t hear the horn. Not enough technology . Better in the QSI LATE 90'S

You can adjust the sound levels using CV values on your DCC System.

The prime mover needs to be turned down almost to a 1/3 rd to hear the proper horn volume in per-portion especially the default bass horn.I have 2 of them. Soundtraxx did a poor job in the audio mix levels to start,, or the horn at the same volume as the prime mover should wale over it, and it does not do that without the eq booster Tsumani has . So they should have bumped up the level 2/3 rd higher of the horn base volume. They didn't. Bachmann claims they wanted the limited sounds to be quality instead of quantity that would drive up the price. From what little sounds that are there they should be right. Not turn it all down just to get the horn volume to sound like it should. Nice they put some sustain in the blat horn mix ,but you never can here it unless the prime mover is down almost all the way. This does not spell quality of sound ,but a poor poor job by Soundtraxx and the engineer that put the 1/2 inch speaker in it knowing that the sound file is loaded with bass like the blat horn. MRC can at least get the horn base volume right and they are considered the Chevy when Soundtraxx is considered the Cadillac.
