Episode request for Thomas the Trainz engine: An Unfriendly Rivalry, Plot: One morning Edward was talking to a new diesel (Dennis) when Neville arrived, Neville says hello to the new diesel but the diesel thinks Neville looks weird, This makes Neville cross and he insults Dennis too, Edward tries to intervene with the argument but Neville and Dennis ignore him, then Dennis comes up with a wager for him & Neville, whoever can pull the most troublesome trucks to Cronk Station wins, Dennis continues to say that if Neville wins than he will never be mean to him again, then Neville says that if he wins than Dennis will have to Pulls Whiffs garbage trucks all around the island, the two engines accept the deals and head off to Ffarquhar yards to collect the trucks, Edward follows them to keep them out of trouble, when Neville & Dennis arrive they see Harvey, Thomas, and Caden, Neville tells Thomas & Caden to make 2 long lines of trucks for them and Dennis tells Harvey to put a lot of heavy boxes on the trucks, then Edward arrives and tells them to stop but Thomas & Caden already leave to get the trucks, but Harvey agrees with Edward & tells them that they shouldn’t do it, but like they did with Edward, they both ignore Harvey, Thomas & Caden finally shunt the trucks and couple them to the two engines, the engines race off and disappear in seconds, Edward is sure that something bad will happen, then Thomas realizes that they forgot the brakevans! So Edward chases the two engines in order to stop them, Out on the branch line Neville is going down Gordon’s Hill thinking about how he’ll beat Dennis, and Dennis is going through Henry’s Tunnel thinking about how he’ll beat Neville, then Dennis pulls up onto the track next to Neville and takes the lead, Neville is outraged but his anger is soon turned to fear as he notices that the track up ahead merges! He tells Dennis to stop but it’s too late and the engines collide side by side! The screen turns to black as the two smash into each other at high speed, seconds later Edward arrives just in time to see the damage, The two engines are derailed, Neville’s Tender is missing, Dennis is leaking oil, and the trucks were destroyed! Edward immediately heads to go get Harvey and the breakdown train, when they get back Dennis apologizes to Neville and he apologizes to Dennis, Harvey then tells them that if they apologized sooner than the whole incident may not have happened, Edward tells Harvey to forget about it as they are probably not listening Characters: Thomas Edward Caden Neville Dennis Harvey Cuthbert (cameo, seen passing Neville) Duck (cameo, seen passing Dennis) Generic Engine #4 (cameo, seen in shed) Percy (cameo, seen shunting) Whiff (mentioned) P.S if your wondering where to get a trainz model for Dennis, there is one on the Sodor Workshops site
