Greetings! This month we want to try something that we have never tried before; Trainz Race without passenger cars attached to the power. We note other channels have been doing this kind of race; we decided to give it a try. (Please tell us your thought in the comment section!) This month's main character is the Amtrak P42DC, racing against various renowned steam locomotives of America. Modern diesel unit verse classic steam engines! Who will be the winner?

It's seems that the UP 844 and SP 4449 are the only two steam locomotives to outperform the Amtrak.

@@JAC82008 Oh yeah, sadly the PRR T1 duplex is unable to outperform the Amtrak, at least the original fleet anyway. Hopefully the T1 trust will make the T1 better performing once they bring it back from extinction.

I find it insulting how every one of the N&W trains are so much slower than all the others in this game. I mean every single time every race. In reality, some of those N&W trains, mostly the J's would fly especially, on top end. We're also talking about N&W engines that pulled consist up and down the mountains compared to mostly all the flat land pulling engines. Then you have other engines unrealistically accelerating extremely fast! It's crazy how unreal it looks. Seems like all the UP engines were built by someone biased. It all just really amazes me .
