Trainz Whistles and Horns Pack 11 (Ft. Both TRS19 & TRS22)

Sorry for the long wait, but I am finally finished working on Pack 11. But, if there are any whistles I forgot, let me know in the comments below! This has certainly taken longer than usual to make this video. A lot of real life priorities keep kicking my tail for quite some time, but it feels good to be back at making Trainz content like this again after a while.
If anyone is wondering "Why are there two trainz logos in this video?" That's because I was using both versions of Trainz simulator for this video only. This video will also be the last and final time I'll ever use TRS19 before I move onto TRS22, which is basically the same thing like TRS19, but with better graphics and newer assets.

Side note 1: From now on, for the future whistle packs, you won't see the username "Joshcaminero95" anymore, since just about everyone knows my real name, but instead you'll see "WesternSeaside572," which is now my new and current username. I hope you will remember that for future videos I make from this point forward. I also mentioned my new username from my previous video I made not too long ago.
Side note 2: I recorded the audio for SP 4449's CB&Q 5 chime V8 (both the secondary and primary versions) and the SP 6 chime whistles (V23-25) from my TV since I can't find the original video anywhere on the internet. Meanwhile, for the 1990s 6 chime V3, that originated from another user, who also recorded his own TV featuring the 4449's 6 chime sounding off before it was stolen in 1990. I just wanted to point that out, that's all. I hope I don't get sued.
Side note 3: I had to change the number of my reskinned SP #4100 into #4005 and I have also changed the AC-6 lettering to MC-2 on the cab (which you can't see in this video) shortly after doing some research on the early Cab Forwards. Meanwhile on Paulz Trainz's website, it's actually labeled AC-3 for some reason. Somehow I feel that the website should be updated. Not only would there be brand new screenshots for each locomotives, including every AC class, but at least the cab forward models (my personal favorites) are compatible with TRS22 & TRS19. I wish I could say the same for the other models though.
Edit 11/15/23: I had to change the title of the whistle at 1:08 to “MSTS SP 6 Chime” since someone sent me an audio file of the same uncut version of the whistle sound, except the bell ringing in the background wasn’t actually from 2472. Not like how I have mine in this video anyways.

Wow, I actually didn't expect for it to come this soon, well I'm glad it did. I also see your beginning to make stuff for TRS22, which is quite nice, kudos to you for making this, I'm sure it was quite straining for you. I do eventually plan on getting a sound app used to make hornsounds for TRS19 (most likely audacity since that's what everyone uses) so I can make whistles, I just don't really have the time, plus other reasons I won't mention.

Yeah, no kidding. It gets very stressful having to do these videos, especially with some of my followers (particularly the so called “Whistle Kids”) which can be a pain sometimes.

I get it, I've seen a lot of people on your community posts, as well as other hornsound creators' videos doing the same thing. granted, not all are like this, but those are in the minority most of the time; essentially, they are the equivalent to android kids you'll sometimes see on Trainz videos. That, along with the fact that I don't know how to release stuff, is probably why that when I begin making hornsounds myself, ALL of them (no exceptions) will be private and for personal use only.

I’m already aware that now all of those users are bad, but I do agree with your statement. Also, how I release my stuff is to export them from your game (right click, export to .cdp, save to desktop, downloads, etc.) and import them into somewhere like Google Drive, or Dropbox for example. You can also open up your website, but that’s just optional. If you don’t want to release your stuff, that’s fine too.

For the SP 4449, I have my own dvd copy of Mark 1 Video’s “Steamin’ To L.A.” and I was recording it from my TV since there are no other clips elsewhere on the internet. These recordings in particular are all recorded at Tehachapi Loop, where the 4449 had a diesel locomotive to assist with the dynamic braking.

Oh, I thought you said that there was a completely new whistle for the 4449 that I wasn’t aware of. My bad. Anyway, the audio of the ATSF 6 chime for the 4449 was from Semaphore Records. 1. They’re both the same whistle. 2. I took the audio from the episode “Up River,” and I basically distorted the audio, and adjusted the badd and treble bit by bit. But for the goods engine, I lowered the pitch like in the episode “High Tide.”

Underneath the smokebox at the front. You can’t see it, because it’s hidden behind the air compressors, located directly on top of the front wedge or plow. Meanwhile, the other GS class locomotives like the GS-2s, the bells can be easily visible without the air compressor in the way.

It’s not in this video, but the 5 chime is 3751’s original whistle. This is so random to ask a question that is not related to the current video. Anyway, it’s more likely that ATSF 3751’s current 6 chime was previously used on another locomotive from the same railroad. It can’t be 2926 since it already has its own whistle, but it might’ve been the same type of locomotive. Or maybe from another unknown locomotive idk.

Also in the video, it’s the part where the Daylight passes by SP&S No. 700 dressed up as Northern Pacific locomotive No. 2668. While passing, the 4449’s 5 chime can be heard. The original model of the 4449 from Trainz Forge had the number boards toward the front, but that one model at 2:08 which had the number boards moved toward the middle, is a private reskin/kitbash model of the GS-4 by JOEMAMA928, who sent me the model via Discord. I won’t post a link to my server because of my concerns that a lot of beggars will be flooding the server with questions like “Will you please beg for this model?” Or “I NEEEEED THIS MODEELL!!!” Or something like that. Not to mention that some of my followers are a bit underaged to be joining a server meant to be for older users that are 18 years of age at the latest.

The whistle sounded more like a 3 chime whistle than a 5 chime whistle. So it can’t be UP 4466, since it never even had a 3 chime whistle to begin with. If you ask me, it sounded more like a steam tractor’s whistle, which I can tell by how high pitched the whistle sounded. Too high for a typical mainline steam locomotive.

I bought them from Paulz Trainz’s website. paulztrainz.myenet.info to be exact. It may look like it’s out of date, but all the content on that website is payware. In other words, it’s not free to download. You’re gonna have to buy it first. That is, but whatever locomotive you like, and if they are compatible with any version of Trainz simulator you’re using, like Trainz 2022 for example.

In the Backrooms. But seriously, I was trying to finish this video but I forgot to add them in. Editing these videos can be a real pain for me, and they take a lot of time. Let’s just say that if I was rushing to get it done, I wouldn’t be able to fix the grammar or to crop out the controls for the game, they would probably ask me to reupload the entire video, which is extremely painful like you have no idea! Even then I still would end up forgetting several whistle requests for a certain pack, but I will add them in a separate Pack 11 video.

How do you put in a secondary horn in a train

It’s not for every model, but for some that does have a secondary whistle already built in, just open the config, copy/paste the whistle and change the duration of whatever secondary whistle you would like on your locomotive. I would suggest using Audacity to modify the sound clips to match the duration. And you should be good to go.
