7:09 If I am not mistaken, Ershad is referring to Honor Play. It got less attention due to Poco F1 but it was also one of the finest products of 2018. Huawei P and Mate series provided the best specifications for the price back then.

I own Honor Play, man. It has been six years and I haven't bothered to purchase a new phone. And even today, I wouldn't switch it with a couple of years older iPhone or a flagship Samsung. The trust that Huwaei and Honor (used to) bring with their products was unparalleled and I hope this legacy continues.

Nothing about the OS? Like does it have Bloatware / Ads baked in or all that stuff? For even 35K, that's a lot for a more or less new brand. Just because all other Chinese brands have bloatware & Ads, should we assume this one does too and give it a pass? No comment on the reliability of Software / security updates promise by a new brand.

I would argue that it is a pragmatic comeback by Honor. Without tantalizing the customers with a super-cheap price tag and a boatload of features at that price, this is a more down-to-earth approach to getting into cut-throat competition after a long gap. Honor and Huawei did a lot for the smartphone world; let’s hope that with this launch, we will have another innovative competitor in the market.

Iqoo neo7 pro with an 8 series flagship processor and we get this at 34 to 36k as compared to this and actually at 37k we can even get one plus 11r also what is the logic to keep the price that much higher and even the 7gen2 processor poco f5 is coming at 27k as base price. I can't understand what honor thinks about its comeback after a while

Justifying the processor by saying its stable and good for regular usage and not a gaming phone as 8+gen1 in 11r , 7+gen2 in poco and dimensity in nord are, doesn't make any sense. Price is what matters. When for same price Clearly better processors are available because thats what that price range deserves then 7gen1 at that price doesn't make sense. And if regular usage is what for customers would buy, then they will not spend as high as 40k and that too on a brand which is making a comeback

It's a great phone.. I was planning to buy this phone but currently it's priced at 37k..i feel it's not worth at at that price.. Before it was at 30k.if someone is investing around 37 to 40k and you don't get water resistant Ip certification.. I don't think it's worth it for almost 37k

What a garbage phone for 38K 🤢🤮. Honor got inspired from Samsung A54? Not paying 1 Rs more than 30,000 for no OIS and performance equivalent to 778G which Poco X5 Pro has for 20K. Honor has nothing special to offer. Such garbage pricing

OIS is overrated in midrange devices. A well optimized EIS can do the stabilization trick. However, not having stereo speakers is definitely inexcusable!! Like ffs! At least put a hybrid top speaker/call speaker

im confused of indian pricing meanwhile here in the Philippines the price is very is same as realme 11 Pro+ both have 12/512 configuration and the price is ₱24,990 or around ₹ 36k and both the phones compete with that price The only pros to choosing this phone over the Realme 11 Pro+ here in my country are - 4K video on all cameras - Better performance over the recycled chipset on 11 Pro+ - Smoother software compared to Realme UI 4 (based on my experience with the Honor 90 and 11 Pro+) - Better display - Good ergonomics I think for around ₹38k and only getting 8/256, this phone is unreasonable in India. Very, very bad pricing. it should be the same price as the realme 11 Pro+ tho in my opinion.

I wouldn't vouch for Honor today. It may be good or it maybe bad. We will have to wait and watch. But years ago when Huwaei used to owned it I would have thrown away an iPhone for an Huawei phone or a Samsung phone for an Honor phone.

Not a very compelling device at 35k or even 30k. The 4k selfie recording and display are great, but don't justify the price tag (it's a China import hence the inflated price). For a 39k phone (without discounts) it doesn't have dual speakers or even an IP rating.

This phone is no where arround 30k, this is still 38k, Honor is making us fool to declare it as under 30k, you will get 3k discount if you have some specific hank credit card, for most of the user in India don't use credit card. That was still okay . But afterthat there are saying if you exchange your old phone then you will get extra 2k and this 2k they are considering as discount and they will give you a tws earphone and telling us we are giving 5k's tws for free. So they are marketing like 38k-(3k+2k+5k)=28k. So don't be full this is very wrong approach for honor who is coming back to India after couple of years. What they will do whoever don't have therir specific bank's credit card and don't want to exchange the old phone or don't want to take your tws. Very stupid approach from Honor.
