I have actually checked both the phones and photos of my friends and I prefer nothing phone picture over Motorola after the recent update on nothing, overall both phones take decent photos

The Ultra XDR feature Nothing released for Phone (2) is a good improvement imo. But other than that Nothing will need to innovate more on their algorithms. Of course Nothing is a new and smaller company as compared to Motorola who've had years to fine tune their algorithms. 3-4 years ago their camera performance was also pretty bad.

@@SinghSama yeah the ultra XDR feature is good but still it sometime messes up the hdr in some situations. We all know it's a new company and not as established as moto but if you know how they optimised the phone 1's camera they could definitely do it with phone 2 too. Most of the people bought the phone knowing it has avg camera's as they thought after updates it will get better as it got better with phone 1 ,so major dissapointment. And yeah finally moto has started improving their camera's so yeah after so many years.

@@anyone8755 Yup, not seen as many camera improvement updates as Phone (1) or even the Phone (2a) actually. Even a mediocre Samsung camera sometimes outperforms 2's camera. But on an average, the photos and videos are good. Just not "great".

It seems to me that Nothing's focus shifted pretty fast from spending resources on existing phones to new product launches. The Phone 1 had a point to prove, and now that that's established, it would be better to adjust our expectations. There's even a very good video on this phenomenon (why enthusiast companies will betray their core audience) by TechAltar, you could check it out.

Thank you for this comparision, currently after being at discount price these phone's do offer a great package and was worth comparison. Spend bit more and get better performance, ltpo battery saver display or save some bucks and get all box content with slight less performance. I also read some specs as moto's display supports 360hz touch sampling rate at game mode, not sure how it makes difference but if I am not wrong nothing only supports 240hz.

just some personal experience i would like to share i owned a moto edge 20 ultra back when that was new, every single picture of mine was blurry, most of the time the pictures were blurry. but my face was always blurry (my mom standing next to me in the photo whos slightly lighter skinned, face clear) its probably something to do with the stupid skin brightening. it never worked, my face was always blurry. and even without that the phone constantly felt like a phone worth 30k. later switched to a nothing phone 1 when that released, and i loved it. the software actually got updates. and i can click photos of myself. and it never felt like a phone worth just 30k, picking up my dad's S22 ultra and my phone 1 side by side, still the phone 1 felt like a flagship later got a phone 2, which wasn't that different, mostly just a performance upgrade for the few times i would game on call, much prefer the size of the phone 2 aswell, and most times that feels like a better phone then the S22 ultra so thats a win in my book

I can rest peacefully, i thought motorola was a better deal. As i am using phone 2 even with better specs only thing i hate is slow charging speeds but the performance and animation is over the roofs. The wise option would be edge 50 pro for people who look for rough usage with no compromises. Nothing phone 2 is bit halfbaked because it's quite wide which makes it uncomfortable to hold and use for one hand users, there are still few bugs in nothing OS and camara which makes it bit irritating few times. Case options are quite limited because of transperant back and glif led ussge.

I have been using 2a for a month or two maybe, and it has recieved more updates in that time than my previous Moto Edge 30 recieved in 2 years. People don't understand the importance of good software and a brand's commitment to improving the baseline UX experience over time. Especially in India there's way too much emphasis on hardware specs. Like dude what's the point of UFS9.9 storage 64GB RAM snapedracoon 8gen8promax if the phone feels like ass to use?

Same here.. using edge 30 as of rn but ordered the phone 2 yesterday. Motorola has ass software updates. Period. Nothing has released the Android 15 beta version and here my moto hasn't even got Android 14. Also they only give 2 years of updates...like what??...I paid 24k for this...why only 2 years and every major update is 6 months late. Don't even get me started on service quality.. my edge 30 power button got stuck inside 1 day after I bought it....1 freakin day...I wasn't ever using anything fancy or such..just their own case. And the service guy had the audacity to tell me they can't replace my phone and will open the back panel....it's a one day old phone and it's already getting dissected.

Everyone is talking about 50 watt wireless charging, no one mentioned if there is any wireless charger available in the market that supports 50 watt wireless. As far as I can see the available wireless chargers supports 25 watts max and also the price of those chargers is very high, I don't think many people consider wireless chargers who buy a 35k phone.

I'm using edge 50 pro for about a month and I wish the software was more consistent like I had to reset device bcz there was so many bug kinda thing .. one thing which get on my nerve was that the option to switch audio profile button from which we switch from silent to vibrate to ring just disappeared 🙂 And other thing I wanna share is that ram management is not great ig bcz I don't get notified from insta or snap many times ...and when I go to the app it refreshes like bruh what is thi ... Had this types of disappointing experience since I bought I paid 30 k it's a lot tbh ... The camara is good but when u move camera close to any subject the focus can be better otherwise portrait and all is great

I think the last update on nothing phone 2 messed up the camera's hdr processing entirely. Now the portrait mode doesn't process the hdr at all. Previously there are only some exposure issues in place, but can be managed by a li'l bit of adjustments. But now its shit. And when you video calling someone if you scroll through the app drawer you can clearly see that choppy feeling, some kind of laggy feel. I don't expect that from around a 40k priced phone.

Iqoo = bad ui compensated with good hardware 2. Samsung = bad processor compensated with great camera and good software 3. Moto = lower performance is compensated with great design and good ui... The differences between them r minimal...

I use nothing phone 2, it's performance is too unstable. Sometimes it's great but other times it's too bad. I don't know if it's only for me or others got this also.
