Here's a question I really wanto know, I know it's not made to come with guidelines but as we have a large dog I want a tent big enough for 3 of us plus him and for it to be tough so was looking at this one. One question tho, is there places I can attach my own guidelines around the tent to secure it for winds. I'm paranoid without guidelines on holiday if we go off campsite and leave the tent without guidelines it might blow away lol Kindest regards

Hi can you pack it away with the inner capsule still attached ???

Not that I am aware of, you need to take the front off as well before packing down. Problem with the inner dome is it held in with toggles and these will come undone when you pack away. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

Unfortunately I have had a couple of issues with it. Elastic in the poles, bent support bar etc. I am looking to do a follow up review of what I have found in the coming weeks it is just finding time with the short days.

Looking at getting the tempest 200,is it worth the £800 for the bivvy, capsule and skull cap? Or spend my money on a different 2 man bivvy?

Thanks for the update is appreciated, we are going for 1 bed 210 x 120, 1 bed 150 x 65, and 1 bed 170 x 75 , the small bechair you have which one is that?

No problem at all, anytime mate. With that setup up you should be absolutely fine to set them up the same way as I have. The small be is along the back which I would suggest you do. This gives the most amount of space with 3 beds. Be lucky :)

Purely looking at quality and ease of use do you still recommend the Tempest 200 or would a 3 rib system like the superdome be better.

@@jimr8792 Erm.... I will be doing a full review video around mid December due to fishing next weekend but in my smaller bivvy as on my own. This will be a proper run down on the good and bad! What I can say now is that the design is great, it is quick and easy to put up although a little challenging because of the size (height) the build quality is ok... I have an elastic in a pole which is practically broken already and have broken the skull cap also. Do I think this bivvy will stand the test of time, doubtful, but I do go most weekends so it takes a hammering. To wrap things up, would I buy another one, no I don't think I would...

Simon, I see it rains like hell. How is the condensation with inner mesh and skull cap? And did you also use it without cap and mesh in cold and wet conditions? Thinking of buying the 200 for fishing with my kids.

In colder conditions you always have condensation with 1 layer bivvies, my Slx v3 with inner capsule was condensation free on the inside, if you put the skull cap on the Tempest 200 you have no condensation on the inside where it is covered by the skull cap, with inner capsule the inside will be condens free, Trakker told me there will be a Skull wrap next year for the Tempest 200

Hi, even with just the inner capsule and no skull cap I haven't had a problem with condensation. With skull cap and inner capsule you will not get any condensation, the capsule acts the same way as an overwrap. This session in the video I didn't have my skull cap on because of the wind. It is a good size for going with the family. Thanks for watching :)

@@nickflitter7172 haha!! Its all good until you have to set up and pack down 2 bivvies everytime whilst also needing the room. Erm well made is questionable! Would I buy another, NO!! I am 5,9 and can just about stand up in it.
