«Tram for Two» with Paavo Järvi and Corine Mauch

In the fourth episode of «Tram for Two», the Mayor of Zurich, Corine Mauch, accompanies our Music Director Paavo Järvi through Zurich.
Both see themselves in their leadership positions serving the city and its residents. They discuss the parallels between their tasks and ask themselves whether they should swap places for a day. What does the Mayor like best about her job? Is art political? And how do Corine Mauch and Paavo Järvi deal with their power?

As an English lover of classical music who happens also to be a tramway enthusiast, I think that this 'Tram for Two' series is absolutely brilliant! I also have a great love for Switzerland, and I have been thinking that the use of a means of public transport as a venue for an interview could only happen in the public transport called Switzerland!
