Fun fact: the thin white stripes you see on no. 214 are actually LED stripes. Another thing to add is that tram line no. 1 has been completely replaced by the Tram-Train line since, as far I know. Other than that, really good video and I hope to see more of Hungary.

Oh nice. Are they actually glowing in the dark? I was in Szeged in june and there were still some services with KT4Ds on line 1, you can see one in the video at 2:02.

I don't live in Szeged so I don't know if they turn them on regularly, but you can find pictures on the Internet where they do. Update: looking at some photos, they most likely use the LEDs during Advent.

Wieder mal ein traumhaftes Video! Sehr schön! Eine Sache würde ich gerne anmerken. Der originale KT4D Nr. 214 wurde nach dem Unfall verschrottet. Die gezeigte 214 ist der ehemalige Fahrschulwagen 105 aus Gera der als Ersatz für 214 nach Szeged kam und grundlegend erneuert wurde da er mittlerweile viele Jahre abgestellt war.

Vielen Dank, auch für den Hinweis! Mir wurde vor Ort gesagt, dass für die "neue" 214 vor allem der Rahmen des Spenderfahrzeugs benutzt wurde, die technische Ausrüstung kam aber wohl größtenteils aus dem Unfallwagen. Insgesamt eine sehr interessante Geschichte, die man leider nur schwer in kurzen Texteinblendungen vermitteln kann.

Oh yeah, der Triebbeiwagen ab 0:56 in Aktion ^^ Cooles Video wie immer, hoffe, du konntest deinen Trip dort genießen. Wagen 214 sieht ja voll futuristisch aus. Fehlt nur noch ein Niederflurmittelteil, dann ist der Wagen für alle Fälle gewappnet :-) Wird die Stadt übrigens echt so ausgesprochen, wie sie geschrieben wird? Dachte immer, man spräche das "Scheged" aus 😅 Frohe Weihnachten.

INCREDIBLE VIDEO! Maybe try coming next year to Oradea, Romania! My city has been for the past couple of years number 1 in the entire country for development and in 2021 the first brand new tram line was open (premiere in entire RO after 1989). Sadly, 90% of the tram routes are closed at this moment because of a huge project going on, for building 16 underground tunnels. Only 2 are open (4 & 8 - the new line!) We just bought 20 Astra Imperio trams (with 25 coming soon) and in our fleet we got 10 Siemens ULF, 30 Tatras KT4DM and 3 Tatra T4D left in the depot at the moment as they will be turned into turistic trams. Everyone at the transport company will be open for sure to give you a tour in the depot. Keep up the good work!!

Only 7 ex Potsdam and 3 ex Cottbus cars (200,201,202,209,210,211,213,215 216,217) have original accelerations i think it called ,,beschleuniger” in Germany. More intresting cars with original seats and doors/buzzers but unfortunately It works only school days..

Yes, "Beschleuniger". During my visit, there was only one car with the old interior in operation, so it was a bit difficult to catch it ;)
