I grew up as a teen with Hendrix making the most incredible music I ever heard. Now at 71 digging this phenomenal guitar sound nearing possibly the terminus of perfection. Jimi too rolling in his grave is groovin wondering what the hell is Tramaine doin just as Clapton wondered about Hendrix! I’m in shock and awe.

Know what you mean, I'm 74, and I had a three piece Hendrix band back in the day! There are now so many great players doing unthought of techniques, and Tramaine is one of them!

@@uniqdzign2 There are many many great guitarists today. To me Tramaines incredibly melodic phrasing especially with his sound and wha work just elevates my brainwaves like no other guitarist I have heard but I am not up on others.

@@GM-cf6jv I am still an avid follower of many musicians, as I was then. Everything from guitars to pedals to amps, has changed beyond belief, and that helps those with talent. I remember when first buying a real guitar of quality, how my playing improved several fold, because it was so easy to play. These days they are even better. Each musician has his/her style, and something different to offer like Tramaine.

Ambedo is a noun that means a state of being completely absorbed in sensory details, such as raindrops on a window or clouds in coffee, while briefly experiencing life. It can also be described as a melancholic trance where one is completely immersed in the experience of being alive, for its own sake.

Correct! Exactly how this song made me feel when I was composing it. And, it’s amazing how accurate the ‘dictionary of obscure sorrows’ can be for those feelings that feel super complex and unique to us, to the point we feel weird for having them; and that dictionary reminds us how normal they are.

Until then, I’m using a Kemper profiling amp, into a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 (discontinued) and usually the delay from the Andy James STL Tones plugin. The tones for the Kemper are from LivePlayRock. ‘My’ tone is actually just the same as the Marco Sfogli signature pack from LivePlayRock, just with some minor, personal tweaks, but the base tone itself is awesome already!

Been doing this for a while. Never saw anybody do it before, and I come across it mistakenly as a young teenager when learning some Vai stuff. At the time, I didn’t know things like whammy pedals and octavers existed so I assumed that effect was done all ‘in the fingers’ and basically learned all that stuff where Vai used a harmoniser or equivalent without the harmoniser lol (imagine my frustration when I found out what the trick was). But yeah, started doing it by mistake basically!
