Donald Trump stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyy should not have allowed the war in Ukraine to happen. The American president also emphasized that his Ukrainian counterpart is "not an angel." He made these remarks during an interview with Fox News.
Trump claimed that Zelenskyy now wants to end the war in Ukraine but added that the Ukrainian leader "should not have let it happen" in the first place. At the same time, Trump acknowledged Ukraine's resilience, noting that the Ukrainian people have been brave in standing up to the enemy.
However, the U.S. president pointed out that the United States has given Ukraine "billions of dollars, $200 billion more than Europe." The EU denied this assessment by Trump.
Additionally, Trump expressed a desire to resume dialogue with Kim Jong-un, whom he called a "smart guy." During his previous presidency, Trump held three meetings with the North Korean leader and believes they had good relations.
