Are you saying all the member of the church doesn't have discerning spirit. I’m in tears as I type this… I preach purity, and this is one of the greatest teachings the Holy Spirit taught me in the secret place. He taught me how to feel in for someone in this situation… He taught me how important it was to help a fallen believer get back on his/her feet. I’m hoping with God’s grace the church will grow to understand this. I’ve had friends who fell and I’m glad God helped me to stand for them in their lowest moments… MayGod help us.

This happened to me, my husband who is a young minister was tempted in a way similar a few weeks ago, as a wife-in this situation (I’m not writing to expose my husband in any way) I’m writing because as a wife, I initially thought sister Rhoda handled it well but I realized later how that she left him and didn’t want anything to do with him. I’ve forgiven my husband but it’s very hard to be in that position! This movie still ministered to me. I hope there’s some lessons on how to handle it from a woman’s perspective in part 2. It’s very easy to just say forgive but if the thing is happening for real, all sorts of thoughts can run through the mind and every thought seems right. It’s true we need to pray for the ones called to lead up but wow! Please pray for their wives too. Thank you for this ministration, everyone does deserve a second chance indeed. May God help us.

As a pastor kid I can totally relate to how people see ministers as the perfect being. Back to sis Rhoda, she was hurting yes but she easily forgot the vow of commitment to her marriage. Finally no one is above falling hence we were admonished to take heed. May God help the church cause we like to condemn so quick!!!

I kept asking myself, "What would I have done if I were a member of Pastor David's church?" Like, for real? This is a powerful message to the church. I salute David for not giving up easily. He kept fighting going from elder to Pastor to Sister Peace to everyone he could reach. And he never blamed God. He kept on crying to God for mercy, that's why I was so certain he would not die. His wife didn't do well at all. Marriage is supposed to be for better for worse, she was there for the good part alone. If he hadn't been stabbed, he would never have found help. One of the best Christian movies i have watched so far. The lesson i have learnt is not to give room for temptation. Resist it physically and spiritually. Well I eventually watched it with him and at some point we would pause the movie and have a chat. It was such an inspiring one and at the end my Husband was so much boiling in Holy Ghost Anger, and he concluded that he'll be going on a street campaign /evangelism tagged: Have u been hurt by the church before? And no one to turn to in your place of mess? Then come to our church DIVINITY LIFE CHRISTIAN CENTRE where you'll find love and genuine repentance. You'll be fixed again through the power of Christ Jesus and you'll become what God wants u to become by God's grace.... This movie is indeed great. I used to say this, the closest friend you can have after God is your family. If the wife had been on his side things wouldn't have gotten out of hand for David. Honestly, this movie is heavenly. The actors acted out the roles so perfectly! What?! I can only imagine how much work is gone into this project. I'm so glad to have such an exceptional movie at this time. So much lessons to be learnt! Pst David was just being preyed on by the devil because of his exploits for God's kingdom😢. I cried my eyes out! Some people just have the mark of God on them, they can't escape the tiniest of sin. While others get 100 chances. Others get nothing but rejection, failure, mockery and defamation of character even after constantly and truly repentant. The devil sure has a way of constantly breaking Believers. Having fun feasting on their challenges and bringing people mascarsading as an angel of light. Can't wait for a part 2. I was practically asking God to forgive him and restore him. The church was too quick to throw stones. Reminds me of Jesus journey through the cross and his death. But when he came out, he came out as a conqueror. That will be the story of Pst David Okeke. I remembered the scripture where Jesus wasn't moved by men's compliments because he knew the manner of men....was it not the same men that were shouting "kill him" So I learnt here that, don't be lost in compliments because men's account of you can change at any time. Also, there should be a character and mind of Christ in the body of Christ. What would Jesus have done in this situation? Jesus paid for the sins of everyone who claim to be righteous so no one should condemn another person because there's therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ who walks not after the flesh but after the Spirit. Who are the church? Is it not the people? If we keep removing them one by one because of their sins, who will remain? Jesus didn't come to save the perfect but the sick people! I cried when I saw how much of rejection he faced just like Job yet he stood. May God all save us from this judgmental spirit. No one believed him even his wife. This movie really touched and blessed my life so immensely, though I cried my eyes out watching Pastor David being abandoned by the Church and even his wife inability to be there for him in his trying times 😭😭😭😭 , after confessing and repenting of his sin. But it's so disheartening to how the Church will always be the first abandon their own at every slightest mistake, where is the example that our Lord and Master Jesus Christ left for the Church while he was on earth?, where is the love that binds us together as Christians, it's quite unfortunate that the believers are always the first to throw the first stone at a fallen member forgetting that it's the duty of the Church to cover the nakedness of any wounded soldier and to make sure that they are back on their feet. I just hope billions of people all over the world, expecially the Christian gets to watch this great movie and learn and do better. May God bless the cast and crew for their wonderful performance.
