Trams in Oradea, Romania 2022 - Tramvaie in Oradea (No this is not Berlin or Vienna ;) )

There are three tram lines in Oradea, and these run together for most of their journey. The lines are 1, 2 and 3. Lines 1 and 3 run together in a city loop, while Line 2 joins part of this loop in part of its journey. All quarters except Vie are served by trams. Trams do not actually run in the city centre, since this is a historic area with narrow streets. They do, however, run on the border of the city in a loop, and then continue through to all the residential areas and quarters.
In 2008 and 2009 10 new Siemens ULF trams were introduced to the Oradea tram system. The first Siemens tram was put in service in April 2008. (These are the same ones that run in Vienna, Austria)
In 2018, Oradea took delivery of 10 Tatra KT4D trams from the Berlin transport operator BVG.

Thank you Oradea for keeping my favorite tram type in such a nice condition, I would like to go on a tour around romania and discover all the classic rolling stock on its rail and city transport systems. I also like that these old tatras have gone all over the world (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland and even Egypt)

Vienna didn't sell any ULF trams. The trams seen in the video were built for Oradea, but the design is identical to the ones in Vienna.

@@TramChris Yes thanks for the correction, I did later check myself using Wikipedia but did not correct my comment! According to Wikipedia, they purchased 10 of these brand new ULF trams from Siemens which pales in comparison as to how many were purchased by the Weiner Linien AG...
