I've come to the realisation at this point that "pure mixing" ie On vinyl with a 4 channel mixer isn't the be all and end all to proper mixing. Tec has moved along so much to this point that I don't know what the man is even doing on that desk at this point. I would love to learn though.

Why short Mixes?

There's a genuine reason why I keep the mixes short. I present a Friday and Saturday night mixshow on a radio station and the format is each hour consists of 3x 20-minute mixes with a 'quick link' (talking in between the mixes about local events, music gigs, club nights etc.) - bringing weekend energy to the listeners (no adverts, no news/traffic/weather, etc). I'm keeping my KZbin mixes 20-30 minutes long so I can repurpose the audio on-air. *Behind the scenes fact about radio*: On average people only listen to approx 20-30 minutes of radio at a time (that's why I have to talk roughly every 20 minutes during the shows).
