Yup. Techno has a special place in my soul as it permanently reminds me of when times were simple and happy. At the age of 7-8, playing PC games like GunZ The Duel private servers that had techno/trance songs as the BGM in game is what introduced me to the genre. Fantasies i still hold until now is having techno playing in the background while being with a beautiful girl, enjoying the time of our lives at a magical place on Earth. Sounds silly and cringe but thats something id like to make happen one day.

in my opinion there is no one that is capable of completely disliking electronic music. every single person i have ever met i have been able to find 3 or more songs they like, even when they were trying to be douches and say they hated everything i played. electronic music goes beyond what most music can achieve simply because it can have any meaning you apply to it from within yourself. what a song means to me, can mean something completely different to you.

That's why I love all Electronica so much.. to the point that literally 99.5% of all music i listen to is Electronica. And clearly most people have to. people who like rap, almost ALWAYS has some sort of heavily synthesized instrumental. Hell take out the "lyrics" and it's typically like typical techno. Rock is the same too, often. Pop is almost all synth instruments. All that pretty much why I hate the arguments over "true" music because it's always people being biased as hell for their music
