Sad, late 90's - early 2000's trance was, and still is, among the peak electronic music. The ones who know of these classics keep coming back to them, and most of these people are not the current young generation (i'd bet on that). Let's do our best to pass this music on.

Trance had already peaked by 2001 when this was released, it started to fade from the main stream by around 2002/2003 I reckon. I would say there were two main titans of dance music back then, Garage and Trance. I was always into Trance. And tunes like this were the reason why. Garage never really gave you the energy rush that trance did, I think the only Garage track that stands out in my mind from back then is Shanks and bigfoot's 'sweet like chocolate'. Back then however, I could say with assured certainty that every other Trance track released was a classic. Trance in my honest opinion will never die.

Whenever I'm with my brother when we go to the Highway to Haul Ass and do 150 ~ 200mph runs, we always listen to trance music like this. While passing vehicles at 150mph upwards, They look like traffic cones. Reality really leaves ya whenever all you want to do is go just a tiny bit faster. It's crazy, Risking it all just to go even faster. All while having the Trance music to take you away into a different world.

Especially WMMT1 & WMMT3 OST Blue Blazes, In your Dream - some of the best songs for going beyond the limit. Japanese Trance is some of the best. Mauro Picotto Iguana, New Time New Place and Pandoro are good ones aswell

There needs to be an Electronic Music Hall of Fame, especially since nearly all pop music tracks now are just watered down electronic subgenres and actual techno, house, and (sadly to a lesser extent) trance music is the soundtrack to virtually the entire Millennial generation and now Gen Z! For someone who discovered trance in my high school years like 2009 onwards I can honestly say that after listening to the genre for over 15 years the older stuff 2010 and before is simply gold. While there are good tracks created post 2010 more hit the soul before that year. So old school trance wins . My only regret is that I didn't start to listen to it sooner.

Thank you so much for sharing your records on here, I have found it impossible to find these beautiful classic pieces of music in their entirety... I only have these on Compilation CDs and are just way too short as it's not the complete track . You have a stunning setup there with your technics turntable and mixer and it sounds better than if I located the records myself and played them on my Denon turntable paired with my Cambridge amp and Wharfdale speakers .
