Nic job man, we love the no parts required repairs, unfortunately we don’t get too many of those. I was screaming at the screen when you were referencing ground while checking power lol. Then I realized you were doing it to show/prove a point. Only time we should reference ground for power is the safety check. 👍👍

Good job,you can used a coins or any metal object and touch those 2 screws on the low voltage terminal block and will go fast on test mode,you don’t have to wait,is too cold,be safe

2 blinks... indicating failure to sense flame.. I replaced the hot surface ignitor and its still not that. pressure switch is fine... not getting voltage to the gas valve. i'm assuming the unit locked itself out due to a limit switch?

Those tranes can be tricky for sure if you’ve never seen one/have no experience

Yeah no flash code diagnosis to make it easy like many other units have. Just tells you its in heat failure.

I got a trane that will start up the inducer fan but won't fire. No gas smell, Has new ignitor. Inducer fan will run constantly

Is there an attempt of ignition? Check igniter and voltage at gas valve. No gas probably indicates that the gas valve is not opening, if voltage is not present at the gas valve but you have a call for heat, check the ignition control board and safeties. Same system run the inducer draft constantly when a limit switch or roll out switch is open. If everything functioning, check inlet gas pressure to the unit.

I think they are terrible they over complicate things I got 114v at the connector for hsi so no readings on it either when test straight to it so hopefully that’s it
