FYI, That first USB probably is video backups for a youtube channel. There is an elevator community an enthusiasts, and they make videos of elevators. Some are quite interesting, but I never watch them on a daily basis.

Those EXEs were from DOS (either 16bit 286 era or 32bit 386+ era). They won't run on a version of Windows past XP, so you'd need an emulator like DOSBox or VirtualBox to run them.

Also normally you cant catch a virus/trojan if you dont actually click it so he is pretty safe in his machine as long as he is careful with the stuff he clicks though there are viruses that automatically gets executed though, iirc the one that took down an entire Iranian nuclear facility was done through a USB attack.

Just an FYI, there are some USB sticks out there that can literally fry most PCs upon plugging them in. I would highly recommend using a throwaway PC for these videos.

USBs like that have to be intentionally designed to fry PCs and do usually not hold data. People would keep those on them because they're a tool not a drive. You'd be more likely to accidentally pick up a USB drive that has a trojan waiting for you to plug it in than a "PC Killer".

i was scared when he opened those random pdf's because those have had virus's before. but some usb's can let out a bunch of electricity when plugged in and kill that port or the computer when plugged in there is also a thing most commonly called a usb rubber ducky that acts like emulates a keyboard and can automatically type anything when plugged in so someone can go and download a virus really quickly or mess up your system really bad

THis video though, is of Erica Terpstra, a former Olympic swimmer (two medals) that became a national celebrity as a politician and tv presenter. She's a bit of a national treasure for us in the Netherlands.
