September 2024 and I'm still watching this fantastic game well done swa,and also a thought for big Deane Richards who passed away a few yrs later,RIP big man xx

This was the season we got Relegated from the second tier of The Football Pyramid, as we got there in 1991 ... the best day in my life as a Tranmere Rovers supporter. All through that season we were in and around the relegation zone as our League form was Hopeless !!!. Do Not get me wrong, I Loved those Cup wins But we lost our Focus and lost our Second Division Status. Had we used that fighting spirit in League matches we would have survived... I learnt a harsh lesson that season, its very simple ... "League Points Come First, Cup Games Come Second" I have NEVER wavered in my outlook from then on.
