The thing with Bumblebee and Cliffjumper is that the original toys were inspired by two completely different cars with Bumblebee transforming into a penny racer proportioned Volkswagen Beetle and Cliffjumper transforming into a penny racer proportioned Porsche 924.

Looks more like Bumbblejumper. Jliff was not a VW, he was a coupe with a more squared body. However this dose remind me of the red Bumbblebee figures fans renamed Bumblejumper.

Same. Seems his job nowadays is to die and further the plot in some way, be it turn into a zombie or unintentionally reveal critical information to the enemy. Also I think that he should remain a similar alt mode to bee but look different enough to not be "Bumblebee but red." Imagine a beetle but with a spoiler and a subtle muscle car engine sticking from the hood.

So, the situation with this Cliffjumper is the opposite of the situation with G1 transformers from the first episode of the cartoon: the latters had human vehicle parts on their bodies while transforming into Cybertronian vehicles, while this Cliffjumper is the opposite way around. That's curious.

no it was a completely different toy imported from diaclone but it never actually went into production, somehow though, some got through into retail in cliffjumper packaging. He was yellow like bumblebee and in cliffs packaging, thus the fans gave him the name "Bumblejumper", or simply "Bumper". later on he would be canon in some comics but there still hasn't been a toy of him since the g1 mistake

Their Bumblebee is shit, the plastic doesn't hold up and the joints will break when handling it every so often! Its not a matter if but when In their 3 batches they said they fixed it, they didn't and just lied. I doubt this one is any better, buyers beware....

The original Transcraft Beetle is a marvel of engineering marred with terrible materials. Mine crumbled into pieces. I've never had a figure break so often and so much. After the 5th breakage i couldn't glue it together anymore.
