Looking at the current state of the church and its compromise with the world this verse often comes to mind, yet it it easy to miss the solemnity of it, for want of a better term. Cosying up to a rebellious world makes God, the creator of everything, your deadliest enemy. There is no way those currently trampling the word of God underfoot can possibly win their war against God, and as we will all die it is also impossible to avoid the consequences of this. Who do these people think they are to talk back to God? What utter folly! We can never rebel against God and get away with it. Our eternal destiny is in his hands, not ours.

At 57, I an just three years in to my faith as a Saved, born again, scripture believing christian. I spent less than a year in the Anglican Church and left just prior to their second apostasy. Last year I stayed with the Bruderhof Community in Sussex, and how pleased I did stay with them. They do steer clear of this 'woke' ideology and I never noticed a single smartphone being used by kids' and adults alike. All in all, I simply found being with them to be so refreshing.

There is no way to police people praying in their own homes. Therefore the law is a nonsense. There is no way of banning people from praying silently in the community. Almost impossible to prove or prosecute.

I don't know so much - during the Great Lockdown, in California (where else?), house and prayer groups were being raided by the cops - some tried to tell the cops it was to watch football games (which, weirdly, was allowable if the numbers were small enough, no matter if the people were family or not), but because of religious items in the house, they weren't believed, some were arrested and the group dispersed. It was tried here in the UK when some churches held normal services, but results were variable and vicars/priests cautioned, if not arrested. Depnds whether some, or any, forces set up 'special task teams' to monitor the situation specially or not. Imagine - a SWAT team raiding a church or home while you are having a service of house group. Thought: what about on ZOOM? What then? One doesn't need to be in the "exclusion zone" but one metre outside of it, so can't, legally, be touched. Maybe "advised to move on" but, if one isn't illegally selling or obstructing the public pavement or road, you don't have to comply, or in a nearby car park on your device, having bought a ticket to park there (not that that worries JSO or some 'protest march' or other these days...).

A few years ago I ( just a believer in a non Cof E church) was told by the pastor the church is a better place without you, people are happier without you around. I touched a nerve and he walked me to the door and shut it behind me. A believer for decades and thrown out of the church. As just a believer not in any big ministry I’ve wept in repentance before our Lord but I can’t go back to any church. Maybe I’m weak but It hit me so hard I’ve not been able to overcome. The last words I said to that pastor was I forgive you. Not that I felt it but I had to say it😢

I fell out with my best friend over this issue. Her daughter is a lesbian and found a 'rainbow' church. They both attended and she sent me videos. The 'pastor' is twisting scripture to push his agenda and get more people in. He has said the Bible is out of date and doesn't apply much these days, as it was written years ago by men in that time. So he is adjusting things to fit for his audience in his 'church'. I tried to explain the TRUTH to my best friend but she told me I'm too brain washed so we're done. Pray in the 'exclusion zone', even silently and every day for one minute, and you'll be noticed and reported, even if it is on your normal route to work or wherever, and Plod, being called, will make the assumption that you are praying about, for the people or against the ruling demon in the area, the clinic involved, even if you deny it or say nothing. There will be Christian households, house groups and even church buildings in the area, mostly private property and, as far as churches are involved, the police have no authority to enter homes and churches unless called for, invited or have warrants to. They were given 'special powers' during The Great Lockdown to invade churches that held services *if anyone complained to them about it,* but who know if they have been rescinded or just held in abeyance for the time being, and whether they will have "extensions" to 'visit' suspected premesis in the future - arrested for praying in one's own home or garden, or in a church. But be a criminal illegal immigrant trafficking gang in a seedy basement dive, hiding weapons and drugs, and you get every benefit and reasonable doubt going...

I also want to commend you for your compassion in asking us to pray for these souls who are already in hell and dragging others in with them. It is easy to 'lose it', because we are SO frustrated by all the minds satan is influencing today in an effort to damage our nation's children - indeed the children all over the world. Its not easy to pray for them, yet I am reminded of a text that says, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Good grief, God protect them. Absolutely definitely, parents cannot be too careful. Regarding all the content that you described in your vlog, about people going so terribly astray: I had the words of this lovely hymn come to my mind today - "Dear Lord and Father of mankind, forgive our foolish ways; re-clothe us in our rightful minds, in purer lives Thy service find, in deeper reverence praise". It is so simple really; it is only the waywardness of the free will which God so graciously gave us, which is the problem. We simply have to turn to our Lord, our Father; and we will live as we ought, and we will be happy.

I am from this US. Im a Baptist/Presbyterian of America. What I don't understand is why is the King the Head of the Church of England? Where does Jesus come into it. I thought Christ was supposed to be the head of the Church. He should be at the top.

Too, it becomes problematic when the monarch's conduct does not exemplify Christian virtues or on the eventuality of a monarch who may not be Christian at all. The Anglican catechisms in the U.S. state Christ is the head of the Church. However, consider the statement was made to limit the jurisdiction of an onerous papacy.

The King is not “Head of the Church of England”. He is the temporal governor. Jesus Christ, of course, is the Head of the Church of England. The teaching authority of the Church is vested in the Bishops in Council. It is fanciful to suggest that the King is in any way involved in the teaching and practice of the Church of England. Some matters do still require the approval of Parliament - in this case, the Royal Assent is purely a matter of form. The Ecclesiastical Courts do administer Justice in ecclesiastical matters in the name of the Sovereign - that, once again, is purely a matter of form. The King does not interfere with the decision making process of any of the Courts even though they administer Justice in his name. Conceptually, the Church of England is a “national’ Church, just as the Eastern Orthodox Churches are national Churches. However, the Church of England does not submit to the decisions of all of the first seven Ecumenical Councils of the Church, so, to that extent, is out of communion with the Eastern Orthodox national Churches. It has also departed from the teachings of the Sacred Scriptures (on which it professes, dishonestly, to base its teachings) in very many respects. So all that can be said of the Church of England these days is that it is neither one thing nor the other. No one is in charge - very definitely, not the King, who has little, if any interest, in how it is run.

Does not the monarch appoint bishops on advice of the Prime Minister and Crown Nominations Commission? The problem with churches is this. In the Western world, there's the notion of a separation between the church and the state. Yet the churches accept being sponsored by the state. So when the state starts telling you what you shouldn't preach on, why do you complain. Any church that collects government support shouldn't complain when the state starts interfering with true bible teachings.

In my country, we formally rejected establishment of religion after we rejected British government. However, consider that in any democratic country government rests on the people. Some of the citizenry and, possibly, in the government bureaucracy are members of the church. In a sense, you cannot separate church and state any more than you can separate soul from body.

I can't tell if it's the fact I worked until midnight that's making me feel worse, or just a general sinking feeling, but I really am beginning to lose hope in the Church as a whole and I'm worried about the Day of Judgement. Why did I even bother trying to get better from paralysing depression and trauma if I'm potentially doing the wrong thing anyway? Why have so many people lost the Gospel of Our Lord and why is apostasy so rife? It's terrifying But your content reminds me that things are going to be okay and there are a number of us who are like-minded, at least in some aspects. (Sorry Rev Brett - as an astrophysicist I'm still grappling with the creation story and I know your views on that!! Hence why I said some aspects). It gives me hope. So thank you

Have faith in the word of God! BELIEVE the new testament! Wherever two or more are gathered in HIS NAME, He will lead, He will teach. Ask and He will not deny wisdom. All we need is the word of God and Christ's Holy Spirit (and Strong's Concordance if possible!) and two or more brethren (or sistren). One of us will be older in the faith, but all we truly need is ONE ANOTHER. In the new testament there are no individual vicars and no pews to view the back of one another's heads, but there ARE FIFTY EIGHT ONE ANOTHER'S!! (No church buildings either).

They did have women deacons. It would have been way out of the ordinary of the customs of the time to have women presbyters or bishops. However, research has shown of an isolated case or two where women had the position of or similar to a presbyter. The Apostles and St. Paul did not abolish slavery, did they? It was not till after a century and a half that Christians outside the mainstream churches began applying Mt 7.12 to slavery, e. g. Quakers and Mennonites.

Just as Mt 7.12 may be applied to the abolishment of slavery, it may be applied to occupations to which women are physically and mentally capable of carrying out the functions as men and have been prevented in the past, including the functions of deacon, priest, and bishop. WO is not covered in 1 Tim 3.1-13 and Titus 1.5-9, besides the point that Paul is not the Son of God and subordinate to the Son of God as any man. It is Jesus who spoke the words of Mt 7.12. It is understandable some people want to keep to what they are accustomed, especially after nearly 2,000 years. (Some were accustomed to slavery as well and to women not voting.) Too, some are failing to distinguish women who have become clergy who espouse the feminist movement's opposition to traditional biblical moral on homosexual conduct and women who are aspiring to become or have become clergy who uphold traditional biblical moral, e. g. in the Anglican Church in North America.🤔

@@royquick-s5n The word of God disagrees with your disagreement. WO isn't covered in 1st Tim. 3:1-3, Titus 1:5-9, or anywhere else in the New Testament since God never allowed for WO in His church. It is Jesus who spoke through Paul and all the apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit in both the Old and New Testaments, since He is the living, eternal Word of God. So all the Bible is the word of Christ, including the passages dealing with leadership in His church. A woman cannot meet those qualifications for many reasons including the fact that it's impossible for a woman to be the husband of one wife.
