They are trying to make interracial marriage illegal again. So I’m not gay but this is concerning to me. As a black person it’s very easy for me to see the game being played on them. They film them as violent and erratic and cut out the parts where they are being wrong. Then they sweep the details of the politics under the rug while they ruin lives. That’s always what they’ve used on us so I don’t expect their tactics to be any different when targeting another group that they’ve they don’t like. I had a friend group with trans/butch/gnc friends up until last year and for the most part they were all self loathing narcissists who hated femininity and ‘girly girls’(unless it was a gay guy or trans mtf, but they were even cunty towards those people). I remember they got into arguments over who could grow their armpit hair the longest like it meant you were the most manly or something. I stopped being friends with them after one of the girls got a testosterone script after literally one month of seeing a therapist, on top of it gave her unmanageable anger issues. It’s sad cause I don’t think it helped her situation at all.

I don't know if this woman experienced some kind of trauma that flipped her like that, or if her new friends tapped into some dormant crazy, but it's so very sad to watch the demise of a group of friends. So I bring that logic home. Emotions will not give the right dosage. Of course, I don't speak for all healthcare professionals. It’s sad to see this behavior. I worked at a job where most of my coworkers were “SJWs” and would often bring up political discussions during breaks. My friend/coworker was the only straight cis person on our team. On a daily basis, all of our other coworkers would try to convince him that he was gay, and when he was adamant that he was straight they began treating him differently, and also made it clear that his opinion was not welcome during any discussions because he was straight/cis. One of my coworkers also would regularly question me on whether I might be trans because I prefer to wear jeans and baggy T-shirts instead of more “feminine” clothes. Despite trying to respectfully make it clear that I was not trans, they would really push the issue of me questioning my identity more and it made me really uncomfortable. It was interesting to me that I felt like I had to be REALLY careful about how I expressed that I was not trans so that I didn’t offend anyone, but my coworkers felt comfortable openly grilling me about my identity and had little regard for my feelings on the matter.

I, as a man would question my manliness if someone called me a woman🤣 but i'd just move on
@JayMaverick2 жыл бұрын
It's rooted in not being recognized as existing. The misgendering isn't the point, it's the idea that society doesn't recognize your value as a human being because of the attributes given to you at birth. For example, I'm polyamorous. Society generally doesn't recognize polyamory as a thing that exists. It took me years to figure out that the root of my depression was trying to live a life that wasn't who I am. That's the root of the anger. In a practical situation, a transperson will get denied medical care or military careers etc due to who they are. That sucks and needs open discussion. If you were denied voting rights because you're a woman, well. That would kinda suck. That's why it's important to recognize that gender is a spectrum and what matters is that we're all persons. Having said all that, I think most of this trans community activism is nonsense. I don't need anyone else to validate who I am or how I love. I certainly don't care about what labels people use to describe me.

He benefits from the power and money... She gets benefits from enhanced child support. Dude is literally projecting this story about his son to justify discrimination against every trans person in texas whose parents are not engaging in this behavior... @NurmaBP Жыл бұрын
Apparently being loud is that how they believe they could be heard and respected. Their fuss 'gender' is their way to be recognized and get attention. Their sexuality is their personality. Not their merit or character.
@eminemsdirtysock1611 Жыл бұрын
I think someone getting pissed off if you accidentally misgender them is about how sensitive they are. The problem would be if you purposely misgender someone over and over again because you don’t agree with them. That’s just shitty. If you have any respect for this person you’ll call them a he if they wanna be called a he. Just like you wouldn’t call someone a nickname if they don’t like you using that nickname. I’d say that’s kinda like bullying. Maybe the people who make a fuss over someone accidentally messing up on their pronouns think they’re doing it on purpose. Basically everything would be better if you just respect the people around you. You don’t gotta go to pride or stuff like that but be respectful.

@@eminemsdirtysock1611 How can he even be respectful when he already gets blasted the moment he steps foot???? THEY were the ones disrespecting him for differing opinions. Yeah, maybe it were shitty opinions, but if you actually want to perform activism that changed your opposing argument's point, then first you have to listen to them as well. And besides that, this was just a shameful way of greeting someone you dislike, even accusing him to be something that he's actually not. People throw around the fas c i word so much without actually knowing what that political ideology was. And they were screaming this even before he's gotten a chance to say anything.
