You can tell in her smile that she is very pleased with her performance, and rightly so.

Videos aren’t good enough to appreciate the power Chloe has in her voice, it’s like all of TSO’s songs, you need to hear it live

These fine women are very talented and yes very beautiful to boot. The lead vocalist is awesome and powerful, but Jennifer Cella's ending without pausing, in my untrained opinion, makes a much better song.

I agree, and with my many music performances I've seen and been in, clarity is key. And holding that last note long enough really gives the song that umph it needs!

The timbre of one's voice is also an extremely important criterion to consider when it comes to weighing in on a singer's presentation. I think lung capacity and execution for this song is overrated. I have listened to eight singers subsequent to Jennifer Cella who were also magnificent. (Some of these other lead singers were of course not participating with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but rather other organizations.) All these lead singers had lovely voices and executed their closing finale with excellence. In fact, Jodi Katz to the viewer's right of Chloe Lowery for song, Christmas Canon Rock, as performed in this concert, also performed exceptional as lead singer for this very song at another concert in another town with TSO. I would not want to decrease the value of any of these exceptional singers. I respect them all and they are all seriously gifted vocal musicians.

Obviously some differences from the version that Jennifer Cella sings, but still excellent. Captures the essence of TSO's power and passion. Very nice.

This would literally be perfect is she sang the long note the second time around as well. Still impressive she holds it a few beats longer than she even has to but the song needs that second note in it.

The reason I’m partial to Jennifer Cella is because she is the only one who can hold that note @2:19 without taking a break.

Dan Roth conducted an interview with Jennifer Cella and inquired about that note she holds at the end of the song. I thought her response was both interesting and comical. Jenn Cella responded, "When we recorded that in the studio, I just went for it. Paul (Paul O’Neill, the lyricist and producer) did not tell me to do that, but I went for it and it turned out to be amazing and we kept it. After I did it, I sat back and thought, “Oh boy. I am going to have to do this every night on tour. [Laughs.] Doing it in the studio is one thing, but doing it live every night on tour . . . some nights you might just not feel the greatest, or have a tickle in your throat, you might be tired, you have adrenaline flowing - all that stuff that plays a part in the physiology of your voice. It was something that I was very conscious of when we recorded it. If I am going to do this in the studio, I must do it live every night. It was so rewarding to hear the applause at the end of that note." For me, most lead singers are not able to hold that note. Notwithstanding, I believe possessing that huge air supply is secondary to all other facets an experienced vocalist must be adept in. For instance, the timbre of a singer's voice is primary. Personally, I have a poor timbre, and frequently hoped I had Perry Como's God-given voice texture and sound quality.

Here is a lovely story of how Jennifer Cella began with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). Jennifer Cella nearly skipped the audition for Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) due to previous rejections. Her agent recognized the career opportunity. Paul O’Neill, who was the founder and leader of TSO - a progressive rock band, happened to walk in on the tail end of Cella’s audition and saw that the people running the audition had crossed her off the list. He asked her to sing some more and was sold on her talent. Cella toured with TSO from 2001 to 2007.

She is actually a very good singer. She has life in her voice. I don't know who the blonde lady is that everyone is speaking of but if shes better than this gal she must be very good :) But someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop the head thrashing... WTF! They look possessed when they do that.

The lead singer is good I like her voice I would describe as a husky voice. However again, the performance overall loses a lot with the other two blonde ladies including Jen doing the song. I know people wil say the original is usually better as you're used to it and familiar with their singing styles. I just believe it's a matter of vocal clarity, pureness of voice and most important,, the ability to sustain a difficult notes for a long time which the leader singer opted not to do.

If one would just stand back and observe, apart from being critical of their talent, an individual would be wonderfully impressed by their future success.
