I am 73 and I have seen most of the great singers of the past 60 yrs and I think she is unbeatable. Who else can hold a note and shift octaves like that without taking a breath? I watched this 3 times in a row and got goosebumps each time. absolutely incredible.

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I found an old video from 14 years ago when Jennifer was still performing with the East group and I swear this one sounds like she could’ve performed it the very next night way back then! I like the way TSO West improvises on so many of the band's songs. For instance, they play different notes, sing different harmonies, add on to songs, end songs differently (like they do here) etc. It adds a different element to TSO, and it's definitely appreciated by fans who are able to see both on the same tour. And it was a surprise to learn Jen was back! Great job as usual! Hope she'll come back full time and with TSO East (where she belongs ;)

She hurt her leg during the show in Oklahoma City. She'll likely be out for a few more days. If not the rest of the tour just to ensure she makes a full recovery and doesn't aggravate the injury anymore

@@JdDiehl I’m thinking possibly the rest of the tour or I don’t know if they would’ve asked her to come out of TSO retirement just for a couple shows. They usually just have another vocalist on the tour cover for each other if it’s a few days. Jodi is well capable of singing this song as well as promisss to keep and did as the lead vocalist her first year on the tour with east crew

@@tritontransport They beefed up on personnel due to covid. So Jen was one of the vocalists they had on the waiting list if a vocalist got covid or had to miss a show for another reason. And the same is the case for band members. If a band member tests positive, they have guitarists, bassists, drummers etc who will come in and play if needed as not to cancel shows
